World Food Day October 16th

Thanet is celebrating World Food Day on Sunday, 16th October at Margate's Winter Gardens.  The doors will be open from 11am - 4pm with this year's theme highlighting Fairtrade cotton.

With over 100 stalls featuring Fairtrade and local produce plus a fashion show, musical entertainment and workshops (including drumming, story-telling and cooking demos), this is a great family day out and it's free!

I should also point out that it is the last few days of Chocolate Week which, I feel is a good enough reason to sample lots & lots of Fairtrade chocolate. .
